Attending GenCon 2025 as media was nothing short of an incredible experience. From the moment I stepped into the convention center, the energy was electric. Thousands of gamers, developers, and creators all gathered to celebrate the tabletop hobby we love. Being there not just as a fan, but also in a professional role, gave me the opportunity to dive deeper into the world of games and meet the minds behind some truly exciting upcoming titles.
During the weekend, I had the pleasure of connecting with a wide variety of game developers, getting hands-on time with brand-new releases and unreleased prototypes. Many of these games will be featured in upcoming reviews, and I can’t wait to share them with you. If you’re into story-driven RPGs, innovative board mechanics, or beautifully crafted indie titles, you’re in for a treat, there’s a lot of great stuff coming down the pipeline.
Of course, GenCon isn’t just about the games, it’s about the people. One of the highlights of the trip was spending quality time with some amazing friends and creators. There’s something special about sharing this passion with people who just get it.
As I unpack (both literally and mentally), I’m already looking forward to next year……..but for now, stay tuned for a flood of coverage, reviews, and impressions from GenCon 2025. There’s so much to talk about, and it all starts soon.
